Our Pineapples



Here are two of our pineapples that are almost ready to be taken from the stalk.... notice the yellow color that starts at the bottom. That will go up over half way before we will cut them .
Both of the plants have new ones to be started for next year. You can see they coming out near the base of the pineapple. The top one will be in our refrigerator before to long and it will be so juicy and sweet.
We have been keeping them watered during the time when we did not have rain... now they get plenty of water.

Whoo-hoo...finally I thought you ate them and didnt say a word on how scrumptious they were ....I am relieved that they still exist...Yeah those are the best..we ate two of those in two days ..very good

Yes it is true...cut the top off and plant in a large container and you will have one of your own...be sure it does not freeze in the winter...bring it inside.... they make nice conversation pieces too

These look great! I might try it too. We should see who can grow the biggest one.

Those look soooo good!! As good as the ones I have had on Maui!! I bet they are going to taste yummies!! You must tell us!!!

So, all I need is a bucket and the top of a pineapple, huh? I dunno, I better research this! :)
