What a Blessed Day

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas Day.
We did....no work.... opened gifts and relaxed

Then we had a great meal.
Stuffed Chicken breasts, mashed potatoes
with lima beans and carrots.
Blueberry Pie for dessert
Since Christ came as a babe to us in a manger,
that means we can have Easter and a Hope of tomorrow.

Ready for Christmas

Now we are ready for Christmas.
The gifts are under the tree
The cards are stacked nearby
From friends and family
And we both have off work on Christmas

Our Christmas Flowers

This is one of the varigated poinsettas that we have. Love that look on the leaves

The white christmas cactus is finally coming to bloom. It does not have as many blooms or as large as the pink one. It is just as beautiful

The end of the beauty is coming to an end...Such a wonderful sight to look at and admire.
It is loaded with blooms this year.

Our Christmas Cactus

This is how the pink Christmas cactus has bloomed since the beginning of the week

The way they look from under the plant. The blossom is beautiful
Wanting you to enjoy also with us.
The white one is just beginning to open its blooms

Our Christmas Cactus

This is a white one. It has a very pretty purple center.
More to come when it opens

This is a pink one and has a very pretty white center.
They open more quickly than the white one.
It is going to have a nice array of flower if all the blooms open.
More to come when they are in full bloom.

Our Poinsettias

When we first noticed the leaves beginning to turn

Taking a few weeks and they are beginning to look nice and red.
As we get closer to the end of the year they will have more red leaves on them.
They were not affected by the frost we had at the beginning of December.
