Our Sunday Afternoon

What a wonderful relaxing day.
And we are so blessed
With all the sunshine and rain
By just looking at us you would have never guessed.
Hope yours was a good.

Our Sego Palm

The Sego Palm is beginning to put out fronds. Has a nice bald head in the center for this to start

Now the bald head has shot forth new fronds. They will open and make the bush fuller.

One of our canna lily's near the garage.
God's World is so perfect and beautiful.

Our Growing Sego Palm

This is our Sego Palm that is getting ready to put out new fronds. It has taken it several months to get this nice ball of fronds on top and now they are starting to come out the top of the ball. It is so interesting watching it grow. This is out front by our driveway. Another of God's wonderful creations.

Our Cactus Plant

This is our cactus plant that we have, that blooms with a "root beer life saver bloom" It has had several on last year and several this year. Very easy to take care of

This is a close up of what it looks like. Very different flower.

Our Sister, Joyce

Joyce Ann (Hoch) Marshall
September 21, 1946 -- September 6, 2006

It is not far away, the place to which they go,
It is just beyond the starlit skies;
It's where the moonbeams grow -
And night is day and day is night and sorrow comes no more
Where love abides beyond the tides upon a golden shore,
And we must wait here for awhile - until it's time to go.
Although we carry on, we mourn, because we miss them so;
And through the years, GOD dries our tears ...
He said, "My peace I give".
Oh GOD ... We thank you for your help and the chance to live.
by Anne
We miss you but we know you are in a much better place.

The Last Pineapple of the Season

The last pineapple to be plucked and eaten. Notice how nice and yellow it is...and when it is opened it will be so delicious. Wish we would have been able to bring them to the "Reunion" I am sure there would not have been enough to go around. The stalk should produce another one next year and that will be the end of this stalk.
